Description: The University of Manchester is at present looking to employ Research Assistant right now, this occupation will be placed in England. The purpose of this post, which is funded by Cancer Research UK, is to develop existing capacity and to build the profile of research in psycho-oncology at Manchester.
The post is for 30 months at 80% of full-time equivalent, for a research assistant who has successfully completed a Stage 1 accredited Masters qualification in health psychology and who would be interested in completing the Stage 2 (Doctoral level) qualification alongside this research assistant post. You will work with members of the Manchester Centre for Health Psychology, ! key collaborators across the University, and with our NHS part! ners. You will have a flexible approach to work. Duties will include carrying out pilot work, literature scoping and original reviews to support the design and development of a large-scale psycho-oncology research programme. You will assist in preparatory work for funding applications to various external funders; this will include networking and nurturing appropriate collaborations.
Interviews will take place in the last week of January and we would hope that the successful candidate would take up the post as soon as possible thereafter.
