Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is the second largest Fire Service in the country with a population of 2.5 million people. We are constantly developing new strategies to fulfil our goals in making Greater Manchester communities safer and stronger. The Princes Trust is guiding young people both employed and unemployed, through personal development courses to help to reduce unemployment levels in our communities.
The PrinceÂ's Trust Team programme offers young people between the ages of 16 and 25 an opportunity to undertake a personal development course to enhance their abilities and self-confidence to help maxi! mise their potential for future employment.
With prev! ious experience of working with a range of young people in a variety of settings. you will support with the delivery of team projects and activities by setting objectives to meet both the team and individual needs in order to deliver the expected learning outcomes.
You will need:
 Ability to recruit a team of young people onto a team development programme
 Knowledge and understanding of working with young people, including young offenders.
 Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills both orally and in writing
 Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel
 Ability to work on your own initiative, organise workload and time effectively
We need your experience and drive to make these exciting opportunities happen in order to make a real difference to the lives of young people across Greater Manchester.
A full, current driving licence is essential for this role.!
