Your focus will be to establish and manage a software quality assurance capability, taking responsibility for defining quality assurance best practise and associated procedures. You will recommend and implement a fi! rst class quality assurance infrastructure procuring the appro! priate test management & automated test packages and other required resources. You will work closely with the development team manager to recruit and manage a quality assurance team and set in place quality assurance strategy, planning, scheduling and coordination. You'll work closely with senior project stakeholders to ensure clinical and corporate IT solutions are architected, developed, documented, tested and implemented to agreed quality standards, thus resulting in a safe, financially viable, efficient and innovative organisation.
Experienced in implementing a range of quality assurance measures including functional & non-functional, regression, unit, edge case, soak testing, performance & security, you should have a broad understanding of the following software development technologies: ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript and associated Internet technologies. Comprehensive experience of agile software development life cycles is essential and it woul! d be beneficial to have familiarity with the workflows, systems and standards used in an Acute NHS Trust.
