An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st line / Trainee VOIP Engineer to join my clien! ts fast paced team in Manchester. This is a truly unique opportunity for an individual to kick start their career, with a fast growing, forward thinking company. This role is ideal for an individual who has solid network/support experience, who has some experience of VOIP technology and wishes to specialise. You will be working alongside some of the best in the industry, learning new technologies and skills.
Ideally, you will have experience of 3 or more of the below:
• VoIP carrier networks
• Linux
• Wireshark
• Routers/Switches and LAN environments
• Asterisk
• TCP/IP
• IP PBX systems (understanding of)
• SIP
• TDM (legacy systems)
Your previous experience should ideally include working for an ISP or from an IT service provider environment. You will also have experience of working with external clients or customer and/or customers and be a confident communicator.
! Please note that this role will include some travel to client ! sites, so a clean full UK driving license is required.
