Mackenzie Stuart currently has the opportunity to represent an award winni! ng multi disciplinary engineering and design consultancy operating across numerous Project Management and Cost consultancy projects worldwide. They are currently seeking a Programme Director to manage multi disciplinary civil engineering projects in rail, who understands the sector encompassing rail systems, signalling and civils packages to the value of £100m.
THE ROLE
- Responsible and accountable for securing and managing multi disciplinary rail engineering projects fundamentally on behalf of Network Rail.
- Manages the key systems and process required to deliver programme of works on time and schedule, these may encompass, risk, assurance, resources and finance.
- Responsible for the engagement and involvement of stakeholders and taking a proactive approach to financial management and funding arrangements.
- Monitor/track programme progress
- Drive Delivery of business change and underpinning technology through work ! stream Programme Managers.
- Ensure programme delivers ! business outcomes and benefits
- Manage key business relationships, reporting progress and preparing internal and wider Network Rail communications material.
- Consolidate the success of the programme delivery teams ensuring a professional, competent service to the client at all times.
- Degree Qualified or higher with a background of Cost or Quantity Surveying on Significant Rail projects.
- Must be a robust leader with outstanding client management.
- Significant experience working with Project Management and Cost consultancies, overseeing Rail projects.
- Exceptional client liaison experience, with high level programme management of all aspects of Rail Projects with a strategic brain.
