A valued member of the Pharmacy team, you will work in an Aseptic Services Unit that comprises 11 clean rooms including a Gene Therapy suite, and which is currently working towards an MHRA licence. No two days will be the same in this busy, interesting role, and you will have a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge of a professional scientific environment and learn a variety of Aseptic preparation techniques. The Unit provides PN, Chemotherapy, Clinical trial and CIVA services, as well as extensive preparations for NeoNatal, Paediatric and Adult services, meaning you will enjoy a diverse workload. Naturally the role can be challenging and busy, and you will be relied upon to deliver your responsibilities in a timely, efficient manner, but you will also enjoy working with a friendly, forward thinking team that balances work with a positive, team orientated e! nvironment. The Trust is committed to staff development so you! can expect plenty of support to progress, including a PDP, ongoing training and development opportunities, and regular supervision.
Motivated, adaptable and forward thinking, you will have good communications skills and will enjoy working as part of a dedicated team. Able to prioritise and see tasks through to completion, you will be keen to learn new skills and muck in to help the unit to run smoothly. Naturally, you will have high standards of working and will appreciate the importance of the same in a hospital environment. You should also be able to show evidence of formal education, particularly in English, Maths and Science to GCSE level 'C' or above (or equivalent).
