Our client an official manufacturer-owned dealer group is currently seeking a number of After Sales Executives for its dealership based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Being a manufacturer owned group it allows our ! client to deliver the very best service to their customers; and this is something they take great pride in.
The main purpose of the role is to meet and exceed customer expectations and maximise workshop profitability.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for dealing on a day to day basis with customers
- To liaise effectively with the Customer Support Unit and Parts Department.
- To receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner
- To discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the Retailer.
- To hand over and receive back any loan vehicle according to the published procedure.
- To ensure that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines and that work is completed to schedule.
- To ensure that requested work is completed on time and to the expected standards.
- To ensure personally ! that all customers vehicles are washed and vacuumed to a high ! standard..
- To ensure that invoicing is accurate and completed on time.
- To ensure that job extensions are properly authorised and processed in line with Company Policy.
- To keep customers fully and regularly informed of changes to costs and expected completion times/dates in line with Company Policy.
- To ensure that vehicles are properly handed over in person to customers, including full invoice explanation and advising of future requirements.
- To provide a fully detailed and costed Vehicle Health Check document to every customer.
- To take responsibility for sub contracted repairs and ensure the quality of such.
- To ensure that the authorisation of warranty and goodwill is given strictly in accordance with the manufacturers policy & procedure.
- To maintain high standards of housekeeping within the After-sales environment.
- To demonstrate a duty of care to themselves and colleagues alike and to adhere t! o the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Practical experience in an After Sales environment.
- Has the ability to follow a structured Sales Process.
- Able to overcome objections and sell the benefits of main dealer products and services.
- General understanding of basic mechanical / automotive systems.
- Ability to estimate accurately times for diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to determine condition of safety related parts i.e. tyres, brake pads, and wiper blades.
- Fully Computer Literate in current business applications.
- Demonstrably well educated, numerate and literate - GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths alongside qualifications in either Sales or Customer Service.
- Should possess outstanding customer relations skill in order to adapt to customers individual requirements whilst safeguarding the Company's Interest.
- Must possess a 'Can Do! ' attitude.
- Ability to handle pressure without it affecting wor! king relationships and effectiveness.
- Should possess excellent listening skills.
- Should possess strong self-organisational skills.
- Ability to verbally communicate clearly and succinctly both face to face and via telephone.
- Ability to convey information accurately between workshop / source and a third party.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of commercial targets and the performance levels required in order to achieve them.
- To possess a genuine passion for the delivery of first class customer service.
