Microsoft Servers, MS Servers, Virtualisation, Hyper-V, VMWare, Storage, NetApp, SQL Server, MS Exchange, Active Di! rectory, Firewalls, Routing, Switching, Cisco My client is a unique rapidly expanding ISP based in Manchester who currently have an excellent opportunity for a customer facing technical infrastructure engineer to join their team. The role will suit an employee who possesses a sound level of MS Server knowledge, but who is keen to expand their skill set and work with a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies from desktop level to server / network level. The successful candidate will have experience with some/all of the following technologies: • Deep understanding of Microsoft Servers and related technologies. • Complete understanding of all desktop technologies (i.e Windows 7, group policies, software deployment).

• Understanding of networking technology i.e VLAN’s, routing, switching and firewalls (within a LAN environment). • MS Exchange • MS Active Directory • Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare preferred). • SQL Server and IIS • SAN / St! orage (NetApp preferred) The successful candidate will get the! opportunity to work on infrastructure projects & consultancy on site with our customers and as such should be confident and/or experienced in dealing with customers face to face. The candidate will be expected to participate within an on-call rota for which an additional allowance will be payable.
