AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M&IB (Markets and International Ba! nking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Operations Analyst for Interest Rates to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Operations Analyst for Interest Rates you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
Additional Position Details:
Operations Analysts work as part of a team that provides daily support and control for one or more business areas. They liaise with clients and relevant internal teams to ensure timely and accurate confirmation and/or settlement and clearence of any resulting operational breaks. They resolve any queries on a timely basis, providing high quality service to internal and external clients at all times. Investigates and resolves bewaks looking at the root cause to idetify and propose solutions for control gaps or seek to standardise processes. Operations ! Analysts require an understanding of front to back trade flows! in order to support the day to day business and to resolve or escalate risk items as appropriate. Operations will directly handle complex exceptions which fall outside of standard workflows. Analysts will directly handle complex exceptions which fall outside of stard workflows. Operations Analysts are also required to establish and maintain close working relationships, at all levels, with related functions allowing for an integrated and proactive approach to the business'requirements. They need a sound understanding of the metrics relatied to their processes and be able to benchmark performance against this.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a professional environment as a Customer Services role or dealt closely with with clients on resolving issues.You must strive to achieve results and be accurate in your work.
This role will have on the job training and will include a 6 week training plan.
