My client is looking to recruit an E-commerce Manager to transform the business from a small enterprise supplying big retailers to a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. This is a! n exciting and varied role to develop an ecomms website from scratch - through new technology, functionality, analysis, optimisation, research and testing.
Areas of Responsibility
Implement a new CMS to enhance the content management for the new site
Strategic lead of user experience principles, introducing and ensuring alignment with industry standards for user experience and user centred design practices.
Responsible for usability testing, advising best practice and keeping the business up to date with latest tools, technologies, industry trends and approaches.
Provide feedback and recommendations on results of usability and A/B testing.
Drive implementation of new site functionality and website optimisation
To manage the relationships with internal/external stakeholders to determine online content, website structure and digital creative.
Provide on-going analysis and recommendations in order to optim! ise performance, liaising with the Web Developers to maximise ! operational efficiency.
Manage and implement the social media strategy across multiple markets and platforms.
Develop new affiliate marketing opportunities; manage the budget and work to increase the website numbers.
Growing the CRM / database for campaign purposes
Developing customer segmentation and targeting programmes
Analysing sales performance and producing weekly sales reports
Passion for Social media and communications.

Good communication skills, both oral and written are required in order that documentation required to be provided meets the required standard
Essential skills and experience
3-5 years minimum experience working in eCommerce/Interactive role with focus on UX, user testing and development /optimisation of websites.
Passionate about digital industry and new technology, with excellent knowledge of the latest digital trends and developments.
Experience in using a variety analytical and usability systems to inform website enhancements and functionality developments.
Some experience of design and/or wireframing skills would be desirable though not essential.
Strong team player and experience working with internal stakeholders and IT departments.
Excellent written and verbal ! skills, and confident in delivery of presentations to all levels of the! business.
Self reliant and hard working.
Experience in delivery of mobile/responsive based projects advantageous.
