in Greater Manchester.
We are seeking an experienced Staff ! Nurse to join their
multidisciplinary ward team.
This is a full time post however we are equally interested in
hearing from nurses who may be seeking a part-time of flexible
working hours opportunity.
Duties of the post
To provide excellent care, support and encouragement to help
patients regain their maximum physical, emotional and social
capabilities in an environment that offers individual care and
positive outcomes.
Support and mentorship to junior staff nurses, healthcare
assistants and student nurses
To work as part of a specialist multi disciplinary team treating a
wide range of complex neurological conditions including:
Tracheostomy
Challenging behaviour
Postural management
Dysphagia management
Low awareness management including SMART ® assessment
Spasticity management

Person requirements
Registered Nurse with full! NMC registration (not requiring a period
of Supervised Placement)
A minimum of six months post graduate experience in ideally with
some Neuro Rehabilitation experience, or a be able to demonstrate a
desire to develop in this area.
Permission to undertake employment in the UK (not requiring a
work-permit)
