As the Data Analyst you will be part of a team which helps provide End User Developed Application (EUDA) Control, Development and Support. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining macros that are in use within the financial processin! g team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with Advanced Excel and Macro writing experience who is looking for a long term career in Financial Systems.
Key Accountabilities
Maintain macros and systems for critical processes integral to the processing of over 35,000 payments per month across multiple currencies.
Ensure all macros/EUDAs comply with required security standards.
Maintain automated processes that facilitate the reconciliation of over 600 bank accounts.
Monitor, review and control the circa 400 Macros/EUDAs in use within the financial processing team.
Development and improvement of Macros/EUDAs as part of continuous improvement principles.
Design and develop solutions to business issues and needs.
Act as a point of reference for technical queries and business issues.
Offer advice and best practices to mentor and train staff, and to help develop and improve technical skills.
Produce Monthly MI.
Liaise wit! h internal and external audit providing support and evidence w! here required.
Skills & Experience
Computing or IT related degree graduate or equivalent.
Experience of working with high volumes of financial information and data.
Previous macro writing experience is preferred.
Previous experience with Oracle or Business Objects is highly desirable.
Experience of designing/developing/supporting software applications.
In-depth experience of Microsoft Office tools specifically Excel and Access.
Advance knowledge of Excel formulae (Visual Basic).
Extensive experience in logic design and flow charting.
