Project Manager - Aerospace

As a Project Manager

You'll! act as the primary interface to the organisation's key subcontractor you will be responsible for the Commercial, Schedule and Technical success of the project. You will act as an externally facing partnership with the subcontractor or parent company forging a long term relationship working on leading edge Defence products predominantly for the aerospace and land sectors. As a Project Manager you will undertake Subcontract Management, Project Management, Bid Management and Customer Interaction at the working level. You'll be experienced within all stages of the project lifecycle and carry out regular milestone meetings with the Subcontractor based overseas.

You

Ideally you will have a background in Aerospace and Defence Systems Integration and development. Experience working with Subcontractors or Internal Customers based globally would be advantageous. Excellent customer facing skills and the ability to be flexible and contribute to multi-disciplinary tas! ks would be beneficial. Familiarity with MAA RA framework (500! 0 series) or an appreciation of System Safety Management would hold you in good stead.

The Role
The post holder will teach on a range of skills programmes to adults through Seetec's Skills Funding Agency provision. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in teaching and learning, preferably in a Skills for Life subject, a knowledge of appropriate programmes, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of learners' needs. They will need to be able to work flexibly to fulfil the demands of the role. Successful applicants will also demonstrate high expectations for le! arners, seeking to maximise their outcomes and therefore will ! be prepared to go the extra mile to help support student success.

Key Accountabilities
The main duties of the post are to: Be involved with the design, delivery, evaluation and promotion of Seetec's Skills provision. Prepare and deliver reports and statistical indicators as may be required. Provide advice and guidance to learners on the requirements of the curriculum and assessment. Contribute to the development of learning materials, as appropriate, and liaise with Seetec's Curriculum and People Development Department, particularly the IV Co-ordinator to establish appropriate curriculum resources. Assist in the recruitment, induction and assessment of learners, as required. Ensure appropriate quality assurance mechanisms are implemented. Attend Conferences and Meetings as may be required from time to time and undertake appropriate staff development. Carry out any other such duties as may reasonably be required by the organisation.
