The Role
The post holder will teach on a range of skills programmes to adults through Seetec's Skills Funding Agency provision. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in teaching and learning, preferably in a Skills for Life subject, a knowledge of appropriate programmes, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of learners' needs. They will need to be able to work flexibly to fulfil the demands of the role. Successful applicants will also demonstrate high expectations for le! arners, seeking to maximise their outcomes and therefore will ! be prepared to go the extra mile to help support student success.
Key Accountabilities
The main duties of the post are to: Be involved with the design, delivery, evaluation and promotion of Seetec's Skills provision. Prepare and deliver reports and statistical indicators as may be required. Provide advice and guidance to learners on the requirements of the curriculum and assessment. Contribute to the development of learning materials, as appropriate, and liaise with Seetec's Curriculum and People Development Department, particularly the IV Co-ordinator to establish appropriate curriculum resources. Assist in the recruitment, induction and assessment of learners, as required. Ensure appropriate quality assurance mechanisms are implemented. Attend Conferences and Meetings as may be required from time to time and undertake appropriate staff development. Carry out any other such duties as may reasonably be required by the organisation.

Relevant professional experience Minimum L3 professional qualification Proven experience of engaging hard to reach learners Experience of initial and diagnostic assessment tools Effective written and verbal communication skills Exemplary presentation skills Good organisation skills. A commitment to the use of IT applications An interest in developing programmes and curriculum The ability to manage learning situations using flexible, student-centred approaches Ability to work as an effective team member Commitment to personal professional development Commitment and ability to act in a professional manner A good record of timekeeping and attendance Appropriate professional appearance
