A national construction company is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Manchester on a perm basis.
The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of a variety of! projects within the energy sector. Specific responsibilities include;
- Procurement of sub-contractors and the preparation of contract documents.
- Preparation of initial project budgets and thereafter maintaining them on a regular basis through the life cycle of the project.
- Preparation and agreement of variations for both the civil and electrical works with client.
- Preparation of valuation claims based on the milestone and interim payments set up by clients
- Manage sub-contractor valuations and associated payments.
- Preparation of final accounts
