Description: RandstadCPE is at present recruited 33334444 right now, this job will be placed in England. For complete informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of 2nd and 3rd party inspection operations including inspector
competency evaluation and development, sub-contractor approval, inspection delivery / reporting and
support to operational management. You will be an experienced Engineer with a proven track record within
engineering compliance and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
THE ROLE
_ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, e.g. Incorporated Engineer / HNC plus relevant experience.
_ A member of a related professional institution. Advancement to Chartered Engineer status encouraged..
_ A! current U.K. driving license.
You should have exp! erience in:
_ In depth knowledge of relevant Regulations and Standards for Safety Critical Equipment in the
Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
_ Experience in the development and operation of Mobile Equipment Verification Schemes.
_ Knowledge and experience of inspection and maintenance of wellhead equipment.
_ Detailed knowledge of inspection procedures and processes for oilfield equipment
_ Good knowledge of relevant BC, ISO and US Standards for the equipment manufacturing industry.
_ Good knowledge of market, industry trends, developments and changes in legislation.
MAIN DUTIES
_ Source, train and development of new inspection resources to address current and future operational needs across relevant technical disciplines.
_ Assess and confirm new and existing inspectors to appropriate inspection procedures.
_ Development and delivery of technical training.
_ Development and revision of inspection procedures to ensure t! hat they remain up to date with the most current legislation and regulations.
_ Review and audit of Mobile Equipment Verification Schemes.
_ Support field staff when technical interpretation and assistance as required.
_ Maintain technical standards within the Industry Division to meet business plan measures participating in Technical Competency Testing and Technical Audits (internal and external).
_ Conduct witnessed inspections of field staff.
_ Management and response of internal and external audit findings through to closure.
_ Undertake key inspections where deemed business critical.
_ Support business development activities for inspection services in the UK market.
_ Manage a small technical team, within company people management guidelines, including conducting Performance Management Reviews bi-annually.
