My rapidly growing client in Manchester is looking for a Mixed Tax Senior Manager to join its busy and dynamic tax team. Your role will involve acting as the key relationship manager for a number of Cli! ents, tasked with ensuring that their quality client service is maintained, but also to work closely with existing clients to identify opportunities to introduce additional services. You will mainly be tasked with this consultancy and advisory work whilst also working with the partner to ensure the proper and efficient running of the Tax team. This obviously involves managing WIP and billing, as well as budgeting and mentoring/appraising staff but also being involved in deciding the strategic direction of the department. At the cutting edge of their field the business will expect the Senior Manager to keep abreast of all the most recent legislation and how to apply it to their clients.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic and client focused qualified tax professional with a high level of technical competency. As the role is client and consultancy focused we are looking for someone that enjoys the client facing aspect of accountancy, and sees ! themselves as a competent identifier and implementer of additi! onal services. It goes without saying that you must be technically strong, with both compliance and advisory, and take an active interest in new legislation. The kind of person is also critical. What's on offer
