Location: TraffordPark, Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
A dynamic and global leading company are now looking to recruit a driven Payroll Manager.
Due to! continued growth, this well established organisation requires somebody with managerial flare to join their team in TraffordPark, Manchester.
Trafford Park is commutable from Eccles, Stretford, Salford, Manchester, Urmston, Pendlebury, Irlam and Sale.
As Payroll Manager you will have hands on experience with payroll software, BACS and flexible benefits. This is a challenging role, perfect for someone who can hit the ground running and can take complete control of the payroll systems. You will be working on 3 different payrolls (1500+) staff across retail sites so must be able to cope with volume enquiries.
Ideally you will have experience of assessing current processes and implement improvements within a payroll department.
Day-to-day activities will include:
- Establishing robust processes and procedures to ensure that the payroll is accurately calculated, in a controlled environment and on time
- Processing join! ers and leavers
- Advising clients, staff and managers ! in relation to pay, taxation and National Insurance
- Completing various forms required by HM Revenue and Customs (to include P45's, P60's, P35's etc)
- Preparing journals for the staff payroll and analysis of staff costs
- Other ad hoc duties as required to support the Accountant and Group Financial Controller
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a good level of IT Literacy and knowledge of Sage.
Ideally you will have worked as a Payroll Manager, Payroll Team Leader, Payroll Supervisor or Payroll Specialist.
