Creates Web pages by developing and testing HTML code for text, images, and related elements.
Duties:
- Plans web site by identifying and evaluating intended audience interests and capabilities! ; evaluating browser capabilities.
- Plans web site visual appearance by determining overall cohesiveness, functionality, appearance, and navigation.
- Builds web site by specifying elements and attributes, logical and physical styles, background graphics, external images, sounds, and animations; defining anchors and relative and absolute path links; entering comments; writing code and using text editors; following accepted html specifications.
- Validates site by testing usability, including troubleshooting coding, overlaps, embedded links, named anchors, and dummy images.
- Maintains site by updating information and coding.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
