We are recruiting for an experienced mechanical handyperson/maintenance operative to work on a highly prestigious site in the Manchester area, you will be pa! rt of the site Maintenance Team providing a quality building maintenance service for the Company and its customers. To carry out repairs to both occupied and empty properties within set timescales in a manner that demonstrates customer care and a high standard of quality, efficiency and compliance with customer requirements.
This is a temp - perm role for the right candidate paying £8.65ph + holiday pay, working shifts 4 on 4 off.
Your main duties will encompass carrying out various manual and skilled tasks to include basic HVAC plant maintenance and general handyperson duties, often covering basic wet plumbing and pipework.
Also including recording fuel levels and equipment readouts, site clearances, supply gathering, assisting fabric and technical personnel on their service and maintenance schedules. The role will include managing your own PPM schedules on small works and reactive repairs.
The position is customer facing therefore you will be liaising wit! h the public, customer & client and be representative of the c! ompany.
The candidate should have previous experience of HVAC and plumbing / mechanical maintenance, either from a handyperson, maintenance operative/assistant or mechanical improver background.
