Capita has entered a competitive tender process for a contract which will shortly be ! awarded by the Ministry of Justice. The 'preferred bidder' announcement is due in June and, should Capita be successful in its bid, there is a vacancy within the Service and System Integrator ("SSI") Team for an SSI PMO.
The SSI Team is initially responsible for the design and implementation of the end-to-end service model which will be delivered by multiple suppliers. The transition and mobilisation period is expected to last 10 months. Upon successful implementation, the SSI Team drives service delivery across a common set of processes allowing for effective accountability and control of suppliers. The SSI Team will, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, monitor service reliability and quality removing inefficiencies thereby reducing costs. The SSI Team, through effective stakeholder and supplier engagement, will identify innovative ways in which to make the service more efficient thereby delivering savings to the Ministry of Justice.
This vacancy is for! an experienced Project Management Officer to support the SSI ! team.
Set up PMO, governance, reporting;
- Support activities to co-ordinate, collate and present project and workstream reporting activities;
- Maintenance of key Project reports (including RAID, PDD. PID & Project Close)
- Maintenance of Sharepoint document management system;
- Technical planning support to all projects
- Experienced PMO with experience of working on high profile complex transition projects. - Project Management Qualifications - Ability to prepare key project documentation such as RAID logs, Project Plans, Minutes, Org structures, Reporting - Coordination of required project activities for the Transition Director.
- Experience working within Criminal Justice - Experience working with a remote team
