£20k - £25k + Package
Opportunity for a switched on and ambitious individual to step into commercial underwriting with a leading ! multinational insurer in Manchester.
The Role
You will join an established and experienced team of commercial underwriters with strong presence in the regional market, with the task of providing efficient underwriting, administrative and technical support.
Working on new and existing cases with premiums typically worth £20k-£100k, you will be responsible for logging quotations, MTAs, dealing with underwriting queries, etc. whilst learning the more technical aspects of commercial insurance underwriting and working towards gaining your own license/authority.
You will be given exposure to clients and your own caseload in time as you develop.

The Successful Applicant
For your application to progress you should be from a commercial insurance background and looking for a career in underwriting. You may already be working for an insurer and looking to progress or an Account Handler (or similar), at a brokerage with a desire to move over to a carrier.
Insurance qualification (or progress towards) would be advantageous, though not essential.
