Location: Manchester, England
Description: Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is in need of Vocational Administrator right now, this vacancy will be presented in England. More complete informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Are you well-organised, with excellent office IT skills and the enthusiasm it takes to sometimes carry out duties that are outside your comfort zon! e? Then consider a move to the Trust's Organisational, Development and Training (OD&T) team. Part of one of the largest specialist Trusts in the country, we support around 11,000 staff. Our vocational team is a small but vital part of the department that helps Apprentices complete their programme of study. They do this via a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates each apprentice's competence to deliver quality patient care and by improving the skills and knowledge they need to perform their duties to a high standard. The Vocational team and Centre has expanded over the last few years and, accordingly, the opportunities within have improved. Indeed, this is true of the entire OD&T team and agenda.
Right now, we're looking for a Vocational Administrator to perform a varied role to support the busy team in the day-to-day running of our Apprenticeship programmes. The role has a number of benefits and challenges, not least as the duties you'll be expected to carry out ! may well change on a day-to-day basis, depending upon the prio! rities of the team. As well as responding to numerous requests for support in the administration of our Apprenticeship programmes, you'll get to use a wide variety of software tools/programmes for inputting and maintaining data to high standards. What that means is that as well as excellent prioritising skills, you'll need to be proficient in the use of computers. We'll also be looking for the ability to manage diary commitments, book rooms/events and maintain databases, plus experience of dealing with all types of enquiries in an efficient and professional manner. In return, you'll find that we're committed to the development of our staff, with your own personal development plan being part of that commitment.
