Three-five years of professional web design/ front-end experience that showcases a strong and diverse portfolio highlighting good use of layout, colour schemes and! typography. You'll need an extreme attention to detail, an understanding of brand identity and strong problem-solving ability through creative approaches to complex problems.
Comfortable formulating and presenting a wide variety of design concepts through the use of wireframes and understand what makes a great user experience.
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop or Fireworks and be used to grouping and naming your layers appropriately to make it easier for team collaboration.
Have a good understanding of SEO concepts and considerations whilst writing front-end code to a high caliber, implementing best practice for semantics and accessibility, including the use of WAI-ARIA roles and Microformats.
Passionate about designing and developing responsive websites through the use of custom designed CSS grids. Comfortable using libraries such as Modernizr to aid Progressive Enhancement / Graceful Degradation to allow each browser to present the best! possible experience.
With a keen eye for detail you'! ll be used to testing your front-end code on multiple browsers including smartphones and tablets.
